Stylin' Salty

I’m Susan. I am originally from Virginia but now reside in the Florida panhandle and absolutely love the beachy salt life! I have two  daughters who are currently in college in Virginia, and I live with my three dogs, Murphy, Bristol and Sunny.  I’ve always been interested in maintaining a healthy lifestyle and as I’ve gotten older, I have begun to realize that the beauty products and services I use now are different from what I may have used when I was younger. My body and complexion don’t bounce back as easily as they used to, but I’ve never been one to simply accept the aging process as inevitable. Instead,  I’ll fight to feel good about how I look and feel at any age so I can enjoy a my life at all stages.  Whoever termed the phrase “aging gracefully” simply didn’t get “it.” We CAN live beautifully at any age and stage of life. Do I believe it comes naturally and easily? Nope. It takes effort and forethought and that’s where this blog comes in. This journey is to encourage 40+ aged women to empower themselves to be the best they can be. Don’t let the rest of the world tell you you’re no longer relevant or even sexy! Don’t let them tell you that you are too old to try something new. Go for it! You get one shot at life, so make the most of it!
